Every year on the weekend before Thanksgiving, a group of local artists opens their studios to the public to show new work, see friends and neighbors, and celebrate the beginning of the holiday season.

This year I will present my drawings for the second time as part of the Portsmouth Holiday Arts Tour. I feel excited to be part of the tour again this year because I will be showing in Kristina Logan’s studio (my mother who makes glass beads and jewelry) and with Reg Logan (my grandmother who is a ceramic artist). This makes us a special three generation studio!

ENDANGERED ART4APES is a fine art and photography contest focusing attention on all that is endangered in our world.

I am thrilled to be part of this special exhibition! I care deeply about endangered species and the animal world.

My chimpanzee drawing has not only been selected to be in the exhibition but it has also been chosen to be printed on the exhibition t-shirts which will be for sale at the gallery.

Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit the Center for Great Apes.

ENDANGERED ART4APES is a team of art and photography lovers who believe that art, in all its forms, can reach people all over the globe and win hearts and minds for the cause of preserving all forms of life and the environment.
